English 3260 Grammar for Teachers

Course Description:
Prerequisite: ENGL 2270. A study of sentence structure, emphasizing terminology, punctuation, syntax and usage of traditional grammar; includes an overview of modern grammars and examines how the methods of these grammars can help students to understand language and implement its correct use in both oral and written communication. Also includes approaches for teaching grammar, such as integrating instruction with writing.
